Tips for Trainers

Ice Breakers

The dynamic of a group and the way people interact can be crucial to the success of a course. PresentationMagazine.com offers some ice breaker ideas to help to get your delegates to get to know you and each other.

For even more information try The Icebreakers Pocketbook from Paul Tizzard and Alan Evans.

Ready-to-use Access Templates

Do you need to develop a database and don't know where to start? AccessToGo produce a vast array of ready-to-use Access database templates. A membership system, a contact management system, an asset register - these are just three examples of the many pre-built databases that are available. For more information, and to download free samples, see their website - http://www.accesstogo.org.uk/

It Shouldn't Happen to a Trainer

Just when you think training can't get any more difficult ... it does! Of course it's always funnier when it happens to someone else and you won't want to miss reading about the hilarious impromptu rendition of Jingle Bells Mike had to endure during a recent course. Be sure to visit Mike's blog for the full story.

Until Next Time

Please keep the feedback coming and remember you can now add comments to each event on the website, so if there's anything you'd like us to cover, just add it to the website or if you prefer send it directly to us using the contact form.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a happy and peaceful Easter.

See you next time!

Elaine and Mike
