Tips for Trainers

Virtual Classrooms

Providing training online is an excellent way to reduce costs and the ability to deliver training via virtual classrooms is fast becoming an essential skill for trainers.

There are many issues to be addressed in the preparation and delivery of training via virtual classrooms. One of the biggest concerns to anyone new to this field is the sheer number of different systems available and the many differences between them.

Virtual Classroom: An Overview is a white paper from Kineo Open Source which looks at open source and commercial virtual classroom options which can be downloaded for free.

Return to Sender (and more)

Have you ever witnessed what happens when someone hits Reply to All to a 1000+ user distribution list? It happened at Mike's workplace last week. 95% of users simply ignored it but the 5% who "replied to all" caused the equivalent of a mini-email-avalanche.

Until Next Time

Please keep the feedback coming and remember you can now add comments to each event on the website, so if there's anything you'd like us to cover, just add it to the website or if you prefer send it directly to us using the contact form.
