It's only 7 days until the inaugural NWIITT event of 2010, Windows 7², taking place next Thursday (25th).

We also have news of an Expo event taking place in both Manchester and London and details of a nasty bug in PowerPoint that could curtail your ability to create navigation within your presentation file.

25 February 2010: Windows 7²

As we enter the next decade, virtualization is fast becoming a key skill. Although The Mac is fast gaining market share, Windows still rules the corporate market. In this presentation, you'll get the best of both worlds as we show you how to install and run some productivity-busting features of Windows 7. 25 March 2010: Microsoft Office 2010 Revealed

It's the NWIITT Microsoft Office 2010 launch presentation and we've got all the inside news on the new Office suite together with free resources for all attendees. As well as having demonstrations of many of the new features within Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and more, we'll also be taking a close look at the most obvious change across all the applications - the new user interface and Backstage view. Live Event

Why not join us at the Dabs.com Live show?

The event will be taking place at two different venues on two different weekends, one in London and the other in Manchester.

The relevant dates and venues are as follows:

• Saturday 13th March 2010 – Wembley Stadium (The Great Hall)
• Saturday 20th March 2010 – Old Trafford Stadium (Manchester Suite)

So What Will Be at the Dabs.com Live Events?

There will be four zones covering all things technology related.

• IT Zone – Dabs.com are a well know IT supplier and they’ll be showing off the new "must have" hi-tech gadgets for 2010.
• Gadget Zone – Gadgets are moving in to the mainstream and you will be able to see the latest technology in action in the Gadget Zone.
• Gaming Zone – Test your gaming skills against other event attendees, including professional gamers and partake of competitions running on the day.
• Football Zone – These two events are taking place at two of the greatest football stadiums in the world so take the opportunity to fit in a guided tour of the stadiums and be photographed with the original World Cup trophy, the Jules Rimet, at Wembley or the Premiership trophy at Old Trafford.

The PowerPoint Comma Bug

Mike this week discovered a strange bug in PowerPoint that's been around since PowerPoint 97 ... yes 13 years without a fix!
