A demonstration of how to subscribe to the NWIITT RSS feeds using Google Reader.
Google Reader is a FREE news reader from Google.
Navigate to the NWIITT RSS Feed Page and right click on the required feed link to display the contextual menu. The example here is from Safari on a Mac (1).
Use the Copy Link option to copy the address of the RSS feed to your clipboard.
Navigate to the Google Reader page and if required login using your Google account.
Click Add Subscription (1)
Paste the copied RSS in to the displayed subscription box (1).
Click the add button (2).
Your subscription is created and a notification is displayed on the right of the browser window (1). Additionally the subscription title is added to the list of active subscriptions on the left of the browser (2).
If this is your first subscription a message is displayed (3) over the first item in the feed on the right of the browser under the successful subscription message. As indicated once this message is dismissed it will not be displayed again. The information given relates to how you manage your reading list of RSS feeds.
Once the Reading List message is dismissed the first item in the feed is displayed in the reading area (1).
The feed items can be displayed as a list by clicking the List View tab on the right of the browser (1).
The detail of any individual feed item can be viewed by merely clicking the title(2).
Clicking Expanded view (3) returns the viewer to the original display.
